What Talent-Famille Is
Talent-famille is the family route attached to every carte talent. When the main applicant is granted their permit, the spouse and minor children can receive their own carte talent (famille) valid for the same duration, up to 4 years. Crucially, the spouse's permit carries the right to work in any role, and the family does not have to go through the slower, income-tested family-reunification procedure that applies to most other statuses.
Who Counts as Family
- Your spouse (marriage) — and, in defined cases, a partner in a recognized civil union.
- Your minor children.
Each receives a permit tied to the main applicant's carte talent and valid for the same period.
